President Hellenic Association of Chemical Industries, CEO Vitex S.A.  

Armodios was born in Piraeus, Greece in 1972. He studied Business administration in Athens and holds an MA in Management. He speaks English, German and French. Since 1995 he held managerial positions in the family-owned company, which produces architectural paints (Vitex), waterproofing materials (Hermes) and thermal insulation systems (VitexTHERM). Since 2000 he is an executive VP of the group and since 2012 the C.E.O.  

As an entrepreneur, he embraces stakeholder capitalism. He is a supporter of innovation not only in technological aspects but also as an evolution force for individuals and teams. Vitex’s principles regarding honesty and transparency are strongly fostered by Armodios that believes the company should be a breeding ground for accountable and effective professionals that take initiatives. He practices supportive and anthropocentric leadership while he enjoys promoting his team’s achievements, especially regarding ESG. 

Armodios has served in positions representing the paints and chemicals industries in the EU and in Greece. He currently is: 

• President of the Hellenic Association of Chemical Industries.  
• Vice President of EENE Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association.  

• Member of the CEPE Board Nomination Committee, the European Paint & Inks Manufacturers Association. 
• Member of the Board of Essentially Greek (Πρωτοβουλία Ελλαδικά μας)    

During his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife Despina, swimming or skiing with their children Stavros & Maria and reading.
