Executive Vice Chairman – STELMA Group of Companies
Μr. Dimitrios Mamantzis holds the position of the Executive Vice Chairman of STELMA T.S.A Board of Directors.
He is a graduate of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, holding also an MSc in Project Management from University College London (UCL).
After completing his military course in 2005, he joined in full employment STELMA T.S.A., mother company of STELMA Group.
The opportunity to involve himself in a highly extroverted company and in demanding professional environments such as those of France, Kuwait, Albania and the Republic of Chad for a short period, allowed him to gain a variety of experiences in shipbuilding, energy and construction projects. A landmark project for the company, but also for him personally, was the painting of the Eiffel Tower in Paris as part of the tower’s 19th repainting campaign (2009 – 2011), with STELMA being the only non-French company to have undertaken this project from its construction in 1887 until today.
In parallel, due to his management position, he has been in constant interaction with private/public vocational training centers, independent certification bodies, educational-training consultants and social insurance control organizations. This pursuit has equipped him with experiences and competences over the labor issues both in Greek and international level.
Dimitrios Mamantzis was born and raised in Ptolemaida, comes from Serres (birthplace of his father, Eleftherios, founder of STELMA) and lives permanently in Thessaloniki. He is married and has two children.
