Nikos Karagiannis

Nikos Karagiannis was born and raised in Athens where he still lives. His studies concern European Culture at the Hellenic Open University. In 2007 he started the operation of the blog Infrastructure in Greece and in 2010 he started the operation of the website ypodomes.com. With almost 15 years of experience, the website is considered as one of the most valid concerning the wider construction industry. He is an accredited journalist at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, a member of the Union of European Journalists. He monitors the reporting of infrastructure, construction, and transport. He has participated as a coordinator in dozens of conferences and events in Greece in panels related to the construction and transport industry. At the same time, he has traveled for the needs of reporting in many European countries and for E.U. issues in Brussels and Strasbourg. His hobbies are reading, baking, and traveling.
